Captain Sean Williams' 102-ball 142 and Bowlers helped to Zimbabwe registered their historic first ODI win against Oman by narrow 14-runs, despite a Kashyap Prajapati's brilliant century and Zimbabwe another step closer to the ODI World Cup in a high-scoring game of the 21st match of a Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

  • Zimbabwe's 332 was their seventh highest score in One-day international and It is their highest total at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo in ODIs, previous highest was 329 against Zimbabwe in 2011.
  • Sean Williams' 142 was his second highest score for Zimbabwe in One-day internationals after his 174 against USA at Harare in this tournament.
  • Sean Williams became the first Zimbabwe batsman to score a century against Oman in ODI cricket history.
  • Kashyap Prajapati became the first Oman batsman to score a century against Zimbabwe in ODI cricket history.
  • Oman's 318 was their highest score ever in One-day international cricket history, previous highest was 307 against UAE at Al Amerat in the last year.
  • 102 : Sean Williams and Sikandar Raza set up the fifth highest fourth-wicket partnership for Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo in ODIs.

Zimbabwe scored 332-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sean Williams blasted a 142 off 103-balls - which was his 8th Test hundred & his first century against Oman in ODIs.

Luke Jongwe hit a unbeaten 43 off 28-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 153.57, Sikandar Raza scored 42 off 49-balls included 6-fours.

Craig Ervine hit 25 off 40-balls including 4-fours, Wesley Madhevere scored 23 off 26-balls included a six.

Joylord Gumbie scored 21 off 34-balls including 2-fours and Richard Ngarava hit 11 off 4-balls included one-six & a six with strike rate of 275.

Oman best bowler by Fayyaz Butt claimed a 4-wickets for 79-runs in 10-overs, Kaleemullah, Zeeshan Maqsood and Bilal Khan each took one-wickets.

Oman scored 318-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kashyap Prajapati struck 103 off 97-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred & his first century against Zimbabwe in ODIs - including 12-fours & a six.

Ayaan Khan hit 47 off 43-balls including 5-fours, Aqib llyas scored 45 off 61-balls included 5-fours, Zeeshan Maqsood cracked a 37 off 40-balls including 3-fours & a six and Mohammad Nadeem hammered a unbeaten 30 off 18-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 166.66.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Blessing Muzarabani, Tendai Chatara both picked up 3-wickets, Richard Ngarava took 2-wickets and one for Sikandar Raza.

Sean Williams named Player of the match for his captain innings knock of 142 off 103-balls including 14-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 137.86.
