West Indies' 178 was their joint sixth highest score against India in T20 international and It is their second highest total against India at Lauderhill in T20Is after their 245 in 2016. 165 : Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill set up the record first-wicket partnership for India against West Indies in T20 international, It is the India's highest any-wicket stand against West Indies in T20Is, previously held by the 135-run stand for the first-wicket between KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in 2019 and the joint highest opening stand in T20Is, jointly 165-run stand held by between KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma against Sri Lanka at Indore in 2017. Yashasvi Jaiswal's unbeaten 84 was his highest score for India in T20 international and the seventh highest-score by an Indian batsman against West Indies in T20Is.

West Indies scored 178-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shimron Hetmyer hammered a 61 off 39-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 156.41.

Shai Hope blasted a 45 off 29-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 155.17, Brandon King hit 18 off 16-balls included 2-sixes, Kyle Mayers struck 17 off 7-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike-rate of 242.85 and Odean Smith 15 not out.

India best bowler by Arshdeep Singh picked up 3-wickets, Kuldeep Yadav takes 2-wickets, Mukesh Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel each took one-wickets.
