England's 198 was their third highest score against New Zealand in T20 international and It is their second highest total at Old Trafford, Manchester in T20Is after their 199 against Pakistan in 2020. 131 : Jonny Bairstow and Harry Brook set up the second highest third-wicket partnership for England against New Zealand in T20 international and the England's fourth highest third-wicket stand in T20Is. Gus Atkinson's 4 for 20 was the best bowling figures by an England bowler on debut T20I match, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 24 held by Jon Lewis against Australia at Southampton in 2005 - (Jon Lewis' 4 for 24 came in the England's first-ever T20I match). New Zealand's 103 was their lowest score in a completed innings against England in T20 internationals, previous lowest was 123 at same venue in 2008.

England scored 198-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jonny Bairstow blasted a unbeaten 86 off 60-balls.

Harry Brook hammered a 67 off 36-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 186.11 and Will Jacks hit 19 off 11-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike-rate of 172.72.

New Zealand best bowler by Ish Sodhi took 2-wickets and one for Mitchell Santner - Tim Southee.

New Zealand scored 103 for all-out in 13.5 overs with top scorer by Tim Seifert struck 39 off 31-balls including 4-fours.

Glenn Phillips scored 22 off 17-balls including 3-fours and Mark Chapman hit 15 off 8-balls included one-six & a four with strike rate of 187.50.

England best bowler by Debutant Gus Atkinson - who claimed a 4-wickets for 20-runs in 2.5-overs on his debut T20I match.

Adil Rashid strikes 2-wickets, Will Jacks, Sam Curran, Brydon Carse and Liam Livingstone each took one-wickets.

Jonny Bairstow named Player of the match for his blazing unbeaten 86 off 60-balls including 8-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 143.33.
