Lahiru Kumara's three-wicket haul, Angelo Mathews and Kasun Rajitha's each two wickets before Pathum Nissanka and Sadeera Samarawickrama's unbeaten half-centuries helped to Sri Lanka easy eight-wicket victory over England in a one-sided game of the 25th match of a Cricket World Cup.

England's was the lowest score ever at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru in ODIs, previous lowest was 168 by India against Pakistan in 1999.

England bundled out for 156 in 33.2 overs with top scorer by Ben Stokes struck 43 off 73-balls including 6-fours.

Jonny Bairstow cracked a 30 off 31-balls including 3-fours, Dawid Malan hit 28 off 25-balls including 6-fours and Moeen Ali scored a run-a-ball 15-runs.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Lahiru Kumara 3-35, Angelo Mathews, Kasun Rajitha both took 2-wickets and one for Maheesh Theekshana.

Sri Lanka chased 157-2 in overs with top scorer by Pathum Nissanka cracked a unbeaten 77 off 83-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes.

Sadeera Samarawickrama hit a unbeaten 65 off 54-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 120.37 and Kusal Mendis scored 11 off 12-balls included 2-fours.

England best bowler by David Willey took 2-wickets for 30-runs in 5-overs.

Lahiru Kumara named Player of the match for his brilliant pace bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 35-runs in 7-overs.
