Kusal Perera equalled a 22-ball joint fourth fastest fifty for Sri Lanka in ODIs, jointly with Dinesh Chandimal and the fastesy-fifty by an Sri Lankan batsman against New Zealand in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 28-ball half-century held by Thisara Perera at East London in 1994. 86 : Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra set up the fifth highest first-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

New Zealand chased 172-5 in 23.2 overs with top scorer by Devon Conway cracked a 45 off 42-balls including 9-fours.
