Richie Richardson cracked a 78 off 76-balls including 12-fours, Carl Hooper hit a unbeaten 27 off 15-balls included 3-fours with strike rate of 180 and Gordon Greenidge scored 27 off 37-balls contained 4-fours.
Pakistan best bowler by Imran Khan, Naved Anjum and Saleem Jaffar each took one-wickets.
Pakistan scored 265 for all-out in 43.3 overs with top scorer by Saleem Malik hammered a 85 off 55-balls including 10-fours with strike rate of 154.54.
Ramiz Raja cracked a 47 off 53-balls including 7-fours, Mudassar Nazar scored 33 off 48-balls included 4-fours, Imran Khan scored a run-a-ball 20-runs and Javed Miandad 17.
West Indies best bowler by Patrick Patterson picked up 3-wickets, Curtly Ambrose, Winston Benjamin both took 2-wickets and one for Carl Hooper - Courtney Walsh.
Desmond Haynes named Player of the match for his record-breaking batting performance to scored a unbeaten 142-runs knocked off facing 132-balls including 13-fours and a six with strike rate of 107.57.
* Desmond Haynes showed no appreciation for the generosity of Pakistan captain Imran Khan as he plundered an unbeaten 142 in a record West Indies total of 315 for four which earned them victory by 50 runs in the third One-day international.
* Haynes was 85 when he was given out leg before to left-arm fast bowler Saleem Jaffar by umpire Mohammed Hosein, a schoolteacher standing in his first international.
* As he reluctantly walked out, Haynes protested to Imran Khan he had hit the ball, Imran withdrew his appeal and ushered him back to the wicket.
* Pakistan made a solid reply with Ramiz Raja (43) and Mudassar Nazar (33) put on 70-run partnership in fourteen overs, and Salim Malik kept the match alive with a scintillating 55-ball 85 balls, hitting ten fours. However, Curtly Ambrose came back to dismiss him with a low return catch.
* Carl Hooper caught Imran Khan in the following over, and the next three wickets could manage only 17. A crowd of some 26,000 witnessed 58 fours and two sixes in the exhibition of batting.
