West Indies bundled out for 142 in 40.3 overs with top scorer by Richie Richardson scored 61 off 101-balls including 6-fours, Robert Haynes 18 and Jeff Dujon 13.
Australia best bowler by Allan Border picked up 3-wickets, Merv Hughes, Dean Jones both took 2-wickets and one for Simon O'Donnell - Terry Alderman.
