Geoff Marsh scored 54 off 131-balls including 4-fours, Dean Jones cracked a 50 off 90-balls included 6-fours and Peter Taylor hit a unbeaten 36 off 41-balls contained three-fours.

England best bowler by Angus Fraser and Gladstone Small both took one-wickets.

England chased 243-3 in 47.3 overs with top scorer by Wayne Larkins hit a career-best 124 off 126-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Graham Gooch struck 56 off 89-balls including 6-fours, Robin Smith scored a unbeaten 24 off 35-balls included 3-fours And Allan Lamb hit 23 off 30-balls contained 4-fours.

Australia best bowler by Allan Border, Geoff Lawson and Tim May each took one-wickets.
