Australia scored 247-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Dean Jones cracked a 53 off 77-balls including one-six & a four.

David Boon scored 49 off 60-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 6-fours, Allan Border cracked a 41 off 46-balls included 4-fours.

Steve Waugh hit 28 off 24-balls contained three-fours, Geoff Marsh scored 27 off 48-balls with a boundary and Simon O'Donnell 17.

India best bowler by Ajay Sharma picked up 3-wickets, Kapil Dev took 2-wickets and one for Manoj Prabhakar - Mohinder Amarnath.

India chased 249-7 in 47.1 overs with top scorer by Kris Srikkanth cracked a 58 off 65-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Raman Lamba scored 57 off 92-balls including 5-fours, Ajay Sharma blasted a 32 off 26-balls, Dilip Vengsarkar 25, Chetan Sharma 20 not out and Manoj Prabhakar 16 not out.

Australia best bowler by Greg Matthews picked up 3-wickets, Geoff Lawson and Allan Border both took 2-wickets.

Ajay Sharma named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored a quick-fire 32 off 26-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 123.07 after picking up 3-wickets for 41-runs in 10-overs.
