New Zealand scored 198 for all-out in 45.3 overs with top scorer by John Wright cracked a 55 off 65-balls including 7-fours.
Mark Greatbatch scored 47 off 64-balls including one-six & a four, Ian Smith hammered a 40 off 28-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 142.85 and Andrew Jones 15.
India best bowler by Narendra Hirwani claimed a 4-wickets for 46-runs in 10-overs, Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath, Sanjeev Sharma,Woorkeri Raman and Ravi Shastri each took one-wickets.
Ravi Shastri named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 1-wicket for 25-runs in 9-overs with economy rate of 2.77 after scoring a superb 72 off 66-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 109.09.
Narendra Hirwani earned player of the tournament for contributing 10-wickets.
