A superb maiden century by Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma's maiden fifty and Rinku Singh's quick-fire 27-ball 38 before Arshdeep Singh's four-for and Bowlers helped to India comprehensive 78-run victory over South Africa, despite a brilliant innings from Tony de Zorzi's 81 and India clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a series-decider game of the third & final ODI.

India's 78-run win was their seventh largest victory by terms of runs against South Africa in One-day international and It is their second biggest win against South Africa in South African soil in ODIs after their 124-run win at Cape Town in 2018. This is the India's seventh bilateral ODI series win against South Africa in ODIs and It is their second bilateral ODI series win in South Africa after their 5-1 win in 2018. Sanju Samson became the 12th Indian batsman to score a century against South Africa in ODIs. Sanju Samson became the eighth Indian batsman to score a century in South Africa in One-day international and third Indian batsman to score a hundred at Boland Park, Paarl in ODIs after Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, both struck centuries in the same match against Kenya at Paarl in 2001. 116 : Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma set up the second highest fourth-wicket partnership for India against South Africa in ODIs, The highest is 127-run stand between Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina at Chennai in 2015. 65 : Tony de Zorzi and Aiden Markram set up the fifth highest third-wicket partnership for South Africa against India at their home venue in ODIs. South Africa's 218 was their lowest score against India at Boland Park, Paarl in ODIs, previous lowest was 288 in the last year.

India scored 296-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sanju Samson cracked a career-best 108 off 114-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Tilak Varma cracked a 52 off 77-balls including 5-fours & a six, Rinku Singh hammered a 38 off 27-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 140.74.

Rajat Patidar hit 22 off 16-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 137.50, KL Rahul scored 21 off 35-balls included 2-fours and Washington Sundar cracked a 14 off 9-balls contained 2-fours.

South Africa best bowler by Beuran Hendricks picked up 3-wickets, Nandre Burger took 2-wickets, Wiaan Mulder, Keshav Maharaj and Lizaad Williams each took one-wickets.

South Africa scored 218 for all-out in 45.5 overs with top scorer by Tony de Zorzi struck 81 off 87-balls including including 6-fours & 3-sixes.

Aiden Markram cracked a 36 off 41-balls including 2-fours & a six, Heinrich Klaasen hit 21 off 22-balls included 3-fours and Beuran Hendricks 18.

India best bowler by Arshdeep Singh claimed a 4-wickets for 30-runs in 9-overs including a maiden, Washington Sundar, Avesh Khan both captured two-wickets and one for Axar Patel and Mukesh Kumar.

Sanju Samson named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best 108-runs knocked off facing 114-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes.

Arshdeep Singh earned player of the series for claiming ten wickets in the three-match series.
