Javed Miandad scored 43 off 44-balls including a boundary, Saeed Anwar hit 33 off 34-balls included 3-fours and Imran Khan hit 32 off 27-balls contained 2-sixes.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Ravi Ratnayeke and Graeme Labrooy both took 2-wickets.
Sri Lanka chased 223-7 in 45.3 overs with top scorer by Athula Samarasekera struck 60 off 86-balls, Aravinda de Silva cracked a 40 off 54-balls including 3-fours, Asanka Gurusinha hit 37 off 49-balls included 5-fours.
Sanath Jayasuriya scored 24 off consuming 40-balls without a boundary and Roshan Mahanama 19.
Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Akram, Imran Khan both took 2-wickets and one for Abdul Qadir - Waqar Younis.
