Jan Frylinck's all-round display, Gerhard Erasmus and Bernard Scholtz's combined 5-wickets helped to Namibia hard-fought 24-run victory over Netherlands in a low-scoring game of the fifth match of a Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2.
Namibia scored 203 for all-out in 41.3 overs with top scorer by Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton cracked a 49 off 43-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 113.95.
Malan Kruger struck 39 off 48-balls including 5-fours, Jan Frylinck hit 34 off 57-balls, Ruben Trumpelmann scored a unbeaten 23 off 26-balls including three-fours and Zane Green hit 22 off 20-balls included 2-fours & a six.
Netherlands best bowler by Vivian Kingma picked up 3-wickets for 19-runs in 6.3-overs including a maiden, Roelof van der Merwe, Aryan Dutt both took 2-wickets and one for Shariz Ahmad - Bas de Leede.
Netherlands scored 179 for all-out in 43.5 overs with top scorer by Noah Croes cracked a unbeaten 46 off 56-balls including 3-fours.
Max O'Dowd hit 41 off 64-balls including 4-fours & a six, Bas de Leede scored 24 off 44-balls included 2-fours and Shariz Ahmad 19.
Namibia best bowler by Jan Frylinck 3-22, Gerhard Erasmus picked up 3-wickets for 33-runs in 9-overs, Bernard Scholtz took 2-wickets and one for Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton - Ruben Trumpelmann.
