* In the first incident the New Zealand team walked off the field after Mark Greatbatch was struck by a stone while fielding at Long-on.
* They returned 25 minutes later after the Pakistan captain Javed Miandad had calmed the crowd at Peshawar's Arbab Niaz Stadium.
* But play was again disrupted for 17 minutes by further stone throwing. Waqar Younis took five for 11 as New Zealand were bundled out for 127, Martin Crowe top scored with 46.

Pakistan chased 128-2 in 29.1 overs with top scorer by Saeed Anwar struck 67 off 75-balls, Ramiz Raja cracked a unbeaten 50 off 65-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes and Ijaz Ahmed 7 not out.
New Zealand best bowler by Debutant Grant Bradburn - who took 2-wickets on his debut ODI match.
Saeed Anwar named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 67 off 75-balls including five boundaries.
