Kushal Bhurtel's all-round display and Sundeep Jora's blazing half-century gives Nepal's record 85-run victory over PNG in a one-sided game of the second match of a Hong Kong T20I series.

Match Stats :

Nepal's 85-run win was their joint sixth largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and It is their biggest win against PNG in T20Is, previous biggest win by 50-runs at Kirtipur in 2022. Kushal Bhurtel became the second Nepal player to reach 1000 T20I runs after Dipendra Singh Airee. Nepal's 198 was their second highest score against PNG in T20Is after their 203 at Kirtipur in 2022. PNG's 113 was their sixth lowest score in a completed innings in T20 international and It is their worst-total against Nepal in T20Is, previous lowest was 118 at Kirtipur in 2022. Sundeep Jora hammered a 21-ball fifth fastest fifty for Nepal in T20 international and the fastest fifty by an Nepal batsman against PNG in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 29-ball half-century held by Dipendra Singh Airee at Kirtipur in 2022.

Nepal scored massive total of 198-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kushal Bhurtel cracked a 59 off 39-balls, Sundeep Jora hammered a 56 off 26-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 215.38.

Binod Bhandari hit 27 off 22-balls included 2-fours & a six, Bibek Yadav hit a unbeaten 19 off 4-balls contained three-sixes with strike rate of 475.

PNG best bowler by Assad Vala captured two-wickets, John Kariko, Nosaina Pokana and Norman Vanua each took one-wickets.

PNG bundled out for 113 in 16.1 overs with top scorer by Hiri Hiri hit a 28 off 19-balls including 

2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 147.36.

Sese Bau struck 21 off 13-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 161.53 and Tony Ura scored 13 off 6-balls included one-six & a four with strike rate of 216.66.

Nepal best bowler by Kushal Bhurtel 4-12, Pratis GC took 2-wickets and one for Gulshan Jha - Aakash Chand.

Kushal Bhurtel named Player of the match for his all-round performance to claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 12-runs in 4-overs with economy rate of 3 after scoring a scintillating 59 off 39-balls including 4-sixes & 4-fours with strike rate of 151.28.
