Dipendra Singh Airee and Gulshan Jha stars as Nepal hard-fought five-wicket victory over Malaysia, despite a captain Virandeep Singh's all-round display in a low-scoring game of the third match of a ACC Premier Cup.
Malaysia scored 143-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virandeep Singh blasted a unbeaten 72 off 57-balls including 4-sixes & 4-fours with strike rate of 126.31.
Sharvin Muniandy hit a 41 off 33-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes and Muhammad Amir scored 16 off 18-balls included 3-fours.
Nepal best bowler by Dipendra Singh Airee took 2-wickets and one for Abinash Bohara.
Nepal chased 144-5 in 19.2 overs with top scorer by Aasif Sheikh struck 32 off 35-balls including 4-fours, Rohit Paudel scored 28 off 24-balls including a six, Kushal Bhurtel hit a run-a-ball 24-runs included 3-fours.
Dipendra Singh Airee hammered a 20 off 11-balls and Gulshan Jha blasted a unbeaten 19 off 7-balls contained 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 271.42.
Malaysia best bowler by Virandeep Singh picked up 3-wickets for 35-runs in 4-overs, Pavandeep Singh and Muhammad Wafiq both took one-wickets.
Dipendra Singh Airee named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to smashed a unbeaten 20 off 11-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 181.81 after taking 2-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs with economy rate of 3.50.
