Sri Lanka's 83-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international, also It is their second biggest win in T20 World Cup after their 172-run win against Kenya at Johannesburg in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20 and It is their biggest win against Netherlands in T20Is, previously they have won by 16-runs at Geelong in the 2022 T20 World Cup. Sri Lanka's 201 was their 11th highest score in T20 international, It is their highest-score against Netherlands in T20Is, previous highest was 162 at Geelong in the 2022 T20 World Cup and It is their second highest total in T20 World Cups after their 260 against Kenya at Johannesburg in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20. Netherlands' 118 was their third lowest score against Sri Lanka in T20 international and It is their seventh lowest total in a completed innings in T20 World Cups.

Netherlands knocked out of the tournament after Bangladesh beat Nepal at Kingstown.

Sri Lanka scored mammoth total of 201-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Charith Asalanka hammered a 46 off 21-balls, Kusal Mendis struck 46 off 29-balls including 5-fours with strike rate of 158.62.

Dhananjaya de Silva cracked a 34 off 26-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 130.76, Angelo Mathews blasted a unbeaten 30 off 15-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 200.

Wanindu Hasaranga hammered a unbeaten 20 off 6-balls included two-sixes & a four with strike rate of  333.33 and Kamindu Mendis hit 17 off 20-balls with one-six & a four.

Netherlands best bowler by Logan van Beek captured two-wickets, Vivian Kingma, Aryan Dutt, Paul van Meekeren and Tim Pringle each took one-wickets.

Netherlands bundled out for 118 in 16.4 overs with top scorer by Michael Levitt blasted a 31 off 23-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 134.78.

Scott Edwards struck 31 off 24-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 129.16, Max O'Dowd and Sybrand Engelbrecht each scored 11-runs.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Nuwan Thushara picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 3.4-overs, Matheesha Pathirana, Wanindu Hasaranga both took 2-wickets and one for Dasun Shanaka - Maheesh Theekshana.

Charith Asalanka named Player of the match for his quick-fire batting performance to smashed a 46 off 24-balls including 5-sixes & a four with strike rate of 219.04.
