Debutant Michael English's record-breaking debut century and Captain Richie Berrington's brilliant 89 before Bowlers shine as Scotland's record 138-run victory over Namibia in a one-sided game of 18th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.

Scotland's 138-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs in One-day international and It is their biggest win against Namibia in ODIs, previous biggest win by 77-runs at Glasgow in 2022. Michael English became the first Scotland batsman to score a century on debut match in One-day international cricket history and overall the seventh player to score a hundred on debut ODI match. Michael English's 107 was the highest-score by an Scotland batsman on debut ODI match, surpassing the previous record of 87 held by Michael Jones against Ireland at ICCA Dubai in 2018. Scotland's 301 was their joint 12th highest score in One-day international and It is their highest-score against Namibia in ODIs, previous highest was 290 at same venue earlier in this tournament. Namibia's 163 was their tenth lowest score in a completed innings in One-day international and It is their second worst-total against Scotland in ODIs after their 153 at Kirtipur in the last year.

Scotland scored massive total of 301-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Debutant Michael English - who scored 107 off 122-balls on his debut ODI match.

Richie Berrington hit 89 off 81-balls including 11-fours & a six with strike rate of 109.87, Chris Greaves cracked a unbeaten 31 off 24-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike-rate of 129.16.

Charlie Tear scored 16 off 20-balls including 3-fours and Brandon McMullen hit 15 off 18-balls included 2-fours & a six.

Namibia best bowler by Shaun Fouché picked up 3-wickets for 60-runs in 10-overs, Ben Shikongo and Tangeni Lungameni both took one-wickets.

Namibia bowled out for 163 in 40.1 overs with top scorer by Gerhard Erasmus cracked a 53 off 73-balls including 6-fours.

Zane Green struck 28 off 35-balls including 4-fours, Malan Kruger scored 27 off 42-balls included 4-fours and Shaun Fouché hit a run-a-ball 18-runs contained two boundaries.

Scotland best bowler by Brad Currie picked up 3-wickets for 25-runs in 9-overs including two maidens with economy rate of 2.77.

Gavin Main captured three-wickets for 32-runs in 7.1-overs, Brandon McMullen and Michael Leask both took 2-wickets.

Michael English named Player of the match for his record-breaking debut batting performance to smashed a 107-runs knocked off facing 122-balls including 9-fours & 2-sixes.
