Captain Shubman Gill's superb 49-ball 66 and Ruturaj Gaikwad's scintillating 28-ball 49 before Washington Sundar and Avesh Khan's combined 5-wickets helped to India comfortable 23-run victory over Zimbabwe, despite a Dion Myers - Clive Madane's fightback and go up 2-1 lead in the third T20I.

  • India's 23-run win was their second smallest victory by terms of runs against Zimbabwe in T20Is after their 3-run win at same venue in 2016.
  • Zimbabwe's 182 was their third highest score against India in T20 international and It is their second highest total in Zimbabwe soil in T20Is after their 234 at same venue earlier in this series' previous game.
  • 67 : Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill set up the second highest first-wicket partnership for India against Zimbabwe in T20 internationals, The highest is unbeaten 103-run stand between KL Rahul and Mandeep Singh at same venue in 2016.

India scored respectable total of 182-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shubman Gill struck 66 off 49-balls including 7-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 134.69.

Ruturaj Gaikwad hammered a 49 off 28-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 175.

Yashasvi Jaiswal cracked a 36 off 27-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 133.33 and Sanju Samson hit a unbeaten 12 off 7-balls included 2-fours with strike rate of 171.42.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Sikandar Raza and Blessing Muzarabani both took 2-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 159-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Dion Myers cracked a unbeaten 65 off 49-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 132.65.

Clive Madande blasted a 37 off 26-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 142.30, Wellington Masakadza hit a unbeaten 18 off 10-balls included one-six & a four with strike rate of 180 and Sikandar Raza scored 15 off 16-balls contained three-fours.

India best bowler by Washington Sundar picked up 3-wickets, Avesh Khan took 2-wickets and one for Khaleel Ahmed.

Washington Sundar named Player of the match for his brilliant spin bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 15-runs in 4-overs with economy rate of 3.75.
