Gus Atkinson hammered a 118 off 115-balls - which was his 1st Test hundred - including 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 91.35, Ben Duckett blasted a 40 off 47-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 85.10.

Harry Brook hit 33 off 45-balls including 5-fours, Jamie Smith struck 21 off 57-balls including 4-fours, Matthew Potts scored 21 off 43-balls with 4-fours, Matthew Potts hit a unbeaten 20 off 33-balls contained 4-fours and Olly Stone 15.

1st Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Asitha Fernando claimed a 4-wickets for 102-runs in 24-overs including two maidens, Milan Rathnayake, Lahiru Kumara both took 2-wickets and one for Prabath Jayasuriya.

Sri Lanka 1st Innings scored 196 for all-out in 55.3 overs with top scorer by Kamindu Mendis cracked a 74 off 120-balls including 8-fours & 3-sixes.

Dinesh Chandimal struck 23 off 33-balls including 3-fours, Angelo Mathews scored 22 off 36-balls included three-fours and Milan Rathnayake hit 19 off 14-balls included 4-fours with strike rate of 135.71.

1st Innings England best bowler by Matthew Potts, Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson, Olly Stone each took 2-wickets and one for Shoaib Bashir.

England 2nd Innings scored 251 for all-out in 54.3 overs with top scorer by Joe Root blasted a 103 off 121-balls - which was his 34th Test hundred and his sixth century against Sri Lanka in Tests - including 10-fours with strike rate of 85.12.

Harry Brook hammered a 37 off 36-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 102.77, Jamie Smith struck 26 off 34-balls included 3-fours, Ben Duckett scored 24 off 38-balls with 2-fours and Ollie Pope 17.

2nd Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Asitha Fernando picked up 3-wickets for 52-runs in 13-overs, Lahiru Kumara captured three-wickets for 53-runs in 12.3-overs, Milan Rathnayake and Prabath Jayasuriya both took 2-wickets.

Sri Lanka 2nd Innings scored 292 for all-out in 86.4 overs with top scorer by Dinesh Chandimal hammered a 58 off 62-balls including 11-fours with strike rate of 93.54.

Dimuth Karunaratne cracked a 55 off 129-balls including seven boundaries, Dhananjaya de Silva blasted a 50 off 71-balls included 7-fours with strike rate of 70.42.

Milan Rathnayake hammered a 43 off 56-balls including seven boundaries with strike rate of 76.78 and Angelo Mathews scored 36 off 91-balls contained three-fours.

2nd Innings England best bowler by Gus Atkinson claimed a 5-wickets for 62-runs in 16-overs including four maidens, Chris Woakes, Olly Stone both took 2-wickets and one for Shoaib Bashir.

Gus Atkinson named Player of the match for his all-round performance to capture seven wickets and made is career-best 118.
