This is the Sri Lanka's first bilateral ODI series win against India since August 1997. Sri Lanka's 110-run win was their seventh largest victory by terms of runs against India in ODIs. Dunith Wellalage's 5 for 27 was his best bowling performance for Sri Lanka in One-day international and the seventh best-bowling-figures by an Sri Lankan bowler against India in ODIs.

Sri Lanka scored 233-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Avishka Fernando struck 96 off 102-balls - who fell four-run short of his century.

Kusal Mendis cracked a 59 off 82-balls including 4-fours, Pathum Nissanka struck 45 off 65-balls included 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 69.23 and Kamindu Mendis hit a unbeaten 23 off 19-balls contained a six.

India best bowler by Debutant Riyan Parag - who picked up 3-wickets for 54-runs in 9-overs on his debut ODI match, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj each took one-wickets.

India bowled out for 138 in 26.1 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma hammered a 35 off 20-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 175.

Washington Sundar blasted a 30 off 25-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 120, Virat Kohli hit 20 off 18-balls included 4-fours and Debutant Riyan Parag - who scored 15 off 13-balls on his debut ODI match - contained two boundaries.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Dunith Wellalage claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 27-runs in 5.1-overs, Jeffrey Vandersay, Maheesh Theekshana both took 2-wickets and one for Asitha Fernando.

Avishka Fernando named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 96 off 102-balls including 9-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 94.11.

Dunith Wellalage earned player of the series for his all-round performance to contributed 108 runs and claiming seven wickets in the three-match series.
