Captain Nicholas Kirton's scintillating 44-ball 73 and A stunning all-round display from Dilon Heyliger' valuable 30 with a maiden five-wicket haul gives Canada registered their historic first ODI win against Nepal by a massive 103-runs in a one-sided game of the 26th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.

  • Canada's 103-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in One-day internationals after their 148-run win against Scotland at Benoni in 2009.
  • This is the Canada's first ODI win against Nepal in the fourth ODI meeting between these sides.
  • Dilon Heyliger became the fifth Canada bowler to claimed a five-for in One-day internationals.
  • Dilon Heyliger  became the first Canada bowler to take a five-wicket haul against Nepal in ODI cricket history.
  • Dilon Heyliger 5 for 31 was the third best bowling figures for Canada in One-day international and the best-bowling-figures by an Canada bowler against Nepal in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 3 for 40 held by Uday Bhagwan at Kirtipur earlier in this year.

Canada scored 253-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Nicholas Kirton hammered a unbeaten 73 off 44-balls including 6-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 165.90.

Navneet Dhaliwal cracked a 48 off 90-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 4-fours, Dilon Heyliger hit 30 off 27-balls, Harsh Thaker scored 27 off 61-balls including a boundary, Pargat Singh and Saad Bin Zafar each scored 17-runs.

Nepal best bowler by Lalit Rajbanshi, Sompal Kami both took 2-wickets, Gulsan Jha, Rohit Paudel and Sandeep Lamichhane each took one-wickets.

Nepal bowled out for 150 in 40.1 overs with top scorer by Karan KC blasted a 27 off 24-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 112.50.

Sandeep Lamichhane hammered a 22 off 16-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 137.50, Aasif Sheikh scored 20 off 30-balls included 2-fours.

Bhim Sharki scored 18 off consuming 30-balls including two boundaries and Gulsan Jha scored 15 off 27-balls with a boundary.

Canada best bowler by Dilon Heyliger 5-31, Akhil Kumar, Ansh Patel both took 2-wickets and one for Saad Bin Zafar.

Dilon Heyliger named Player of the match for his stunning all-round performance to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 31-runs in 10-overs after scoring a valuable 30 off 27-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours.
