Vishnu Sukumaran's brilliant 97, Basil Hameed's blazing 47-ball 71 and Ali Naseer's whirlwind 21-ball 38* helped to UAE chase the their target target of 314 against Namibia by a dramatic one-wicket, despite a Michael van Lingen's superb century in a high-scoring thriller of the 29th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.

  • UAE chased 314 was their highest successful run-chase in One-day internationals, their previous highest chase was 308 against Oman at Al Amerat in 2022.
  • 155 : Vishnu Sukumaran and Basil Hameed set up the record sixth-wicket partnership for UAE in One-day international, previously held by the 135-run stand between Vriitya Aravind and Asif Khan against Nepal at Kirtipur in the last year and the UAE's second highest any-wicket stand in ODIs, The highest is 160-run stand for the fourth-wicket between Vriitya Aravind and Asif Khan at Windhoek in the last year.
  • 142 : Michael van Lingen and JP Kotze set up the record first-wicket partnership for Namibia in One-day international, previously held by the 76-run stand between Jan-Berrie Burger and Morne Karg against Netherlands at Bloemfontein in 2003 and the Namibia's highest any-wicket stand against UAE in ODIs, previously held by the 115-run stand for the eight-wicket between David Wiese and Jan Frylinck at ICCA Dubai in 2022.
  • Namibia's 313 was their third highest score in One-day international and it is their highest-score against UAE in ODIs, previous highest was 305 at Sharjah in 2022.
  • Michael van Lingen became the first Namibia batsman to score a century against UAE in ODI cricket history.
  • Michael van Lingen's 107 was his fifth highest score in One-day international and the highest-score by an Namibia batsman against UAE in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 79 held by Craig Williams at Sharjah in 2022.
  • Vishnu Sukumaran's 97 was his highest score for UAE in One-day international and the third highest-score by an UAE batsman against Namibia in ODIs.

Namibia scored 313 for all-out in exact 50 overs with top scorer by Michael van Lingen hammered a 107 off 85-balls - which was his 5th ODI hundred and his first century against UAE in ODIs - including 9-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 125.88.

JP Kotze blasted a 64 off 53-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 120.75, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton scored 54 off 63-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours.

Bernard Scholtz scored 24 off 27-balls including 2-fours and Gerhard Erasmus hit 19 off 13-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 146.15.

UAE best bowler by Ali Naseer picked up 3-wickets, Vishnu Sukumaran, Muhammad Jawadullah, Basil Hameed, Junaid Siddique and Rahul Bhatia each took one-wickets.

UAE chased 316-9 in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Vishnu Sukumaran cracked a 97 off 90-balls - who fell three-run short of his century.

Basil Hameed hammered a 71 off 47-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 151.06, Ali Naseer blasted a unbeaten 38 off 21-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 180.95.

Alishan Sharafu scored 30 off 42-balls including 4-fours & a six and Muhammad Waseem hit 19 off 29-balls included three boundaries.

Namibia best bowler by Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton claimed a 4-wickets for 79-runs in 8.3-overs, Bernard Scholtz, Tangeni Lungameni both took 2-wickets and one for Gerhard Erasmus.

Vishnu Sukumaran named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant career-best 97 off 90-balls including 8-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 107.77.
