Bowlers shines before Michael van Lingen and Gerhard Erasmus' fifties leads to Namibia comfortable eight-wicket victory over UAE in a one-sided game of the 35th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
UAE scored 190 for all-out in 43.2 overs with top scorer by Ali Naseer cracked a 61 off 62-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes.
Alishan Sharafu struck 31 off 26-balls including 6-fours, Vishnu Sukumaran hit 30 off 43-balls included 3-fours & a six and Asif Khan scored 26 off 62-balls contained three-fours.
Namibia best bowler by JJ Smit picked up 3-wickets, Bernard Scholtz, Tangeni Lungameni both captured two-wickets, Ben Shikongo, Shaun Fouché and Gerhard Erasmus each took one-wickets.
Namibia chased 194-2 in 28.5 overs with top scorer by Michael van Lingen hammered a 67 off 43-balls, Gerhard Erasmus blasted a unbeaten 59 off 46-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 128.26.
JP Kotze scored 40 off 63-balls included 6-fours and Zane Green hit a run-a-ball unbeaten 21-runs contained three-fours.
UAE best bowler by Vishnu Sukumaran and Basil Hameed both took one-wickets.
Michael van Lingen named Player of the match for his match-winning quick-fire 67 off 43-balls including 12-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 155.81.
