  • Zimbabwe's 344 was the highest score by any team in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 314 by Nepal against Mongolia at Hangzhou in the 2023 Asian Games Men's Cricket Competition.
  • Sikandar Raza became the first Zimbabwe batsman to score a century in T20 international cricket history.

  • Zimbabwe's 27-sixes was the most sixes hit by any team in an innings in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 26-sixes hit by Nepal against Mongolia at Hangzhou in the 2023 Asian Games Men's Cricket Competition.
  • Sikandar Raza's unbeaten 133 was the highest score by an Zimbabwe batsman in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 96 held by Dion Myers against Rwanda at same venue earlier in this tournament's yesterday match and the joint 11th highest-score by any batsman in T20Is, jointly with Max O'Dowd.
  • 35-runs : Number of runs that were scored in the 17th over from Musa Jobarteh, which was the most productive over for Zimbabwe in T20 international cricket history and the seventh most expensive-over in T20Is.
  • Sikandar Raza scored 34-runs (2, 6, 6, 6, 4, 4, 6) - the joint most runs scored by an Zimbabwe batsman in an over in T20 international, jointly with Ryan Burl's 34-runs against Bangladesh at Harare in 2022 and the fifth most runs scored by a batsman in an over in T20Is.
  • Gambia's 54 was their third lowest score in T20Is.
  • Gambia's 290-run defeat was the worst by margin of runs in T20I cricket history, surpassing the previous record by Mongolia's 273-runs defeat against Nepal at Hangzhou in the 2023 Asian Games.

Zimbabwe smashed a world record-breaking total of 344-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Sikandar Raza hammered a career-best unbeaten 133 off 43-balls - which was his 1st T20I hundred.

Tadiwanashe Marumani hammered a 62 off 19-balls including 9-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 326.31, Clive Madande blasted a unbeaten 53 off 17-balls contained 5-sixes & 3-fours with strike-rate of 311.76.

Brian Bennett cracked a 50 off 26-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 192.30, Ryan Burl hit 25 off 11-balls included 3-fours & a six and Dion Myers struck 12 off 5-balls included one-six & a four with strike-rate of 240.

Gambia best bowler by Andre Jarju took 2-wickets and one for Arjunsingh Rajpurohit - Abubacarr Kuyateh.

Gambia bundled out for 54 in 14.4 overs with top scorer by Andre Jarju hit a run-a-ball unbeaten 12-runs including 2-fours, Asim Ashraf and Frank Campbell each scored 7-runs.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Brandon Mavuta picked up 3-wickets for 10-runs in 4-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 2.50, Richard Ngarava captured three-wickets for 13-runs in 4-overs with economy rate of 3.25 and Ryan Burl took one-wicket.

Sikandar Raza named Player of the match for his whirlwind batting performance to smashed a career-best unbeaten 133 off facing 43-balls including 15-sixes and 7-fours with strike rate of 309.30.
