Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz's superb century and All-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai's career-best four-for with a unbeaten half-century gives Afghanistan convincing five-wicket victory over Bangladesh and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a series-decider game of the third & final ODI.

Bangladesh's 244 was their ninth highest score against Afghanistan in One-day international and It is their second highest total at Sharjah in ODIs after their 252 earlier in this series' second match. 145 : Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mahmudullah set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against Afghanistan in One-day international, previously held by the 114-run stand between Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim at Canberra in the 2015 World Cup and the Bangladesh's fourth highest fifth-wicket stand in ODIs. Azmatullah Omarzai's 4 for 37 was his best bowling performance for Afghanistan in One-day international and the second best-bowling-figures by an Afghanistan bowler against Bangladesh in ODIs after AM Ghazanfar's 6 for 26 at same venue earlier in this series' opening game. Rahmanullah Gurbaz became the first Afghanistan batsman to scored eight centuries in ODI cricket history.

Bangladesh scored 244-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mahmudullah cracked a run-a-ball 98-runs - who fell two-run short of his century - including 7-fours & 3-sixes.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz struck 66 off 119-balls including 4-fours, Soumya Sarkar hit 24 off 23-balls included 3-fours and Tanzid Hasan scored 19 off 29-balls included 3-fours.

Afghanistan best bowler by Azmatullah Omarzai 4-37, Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan both took one-wickets.

Afghanistan chased 246-5 in 48.2 overs with top scorer by Rahmanullah Gurbaz cracked a 101 off 120-balls - which was his 8th ODI hundred and his third century against Bangladesh in ODIs.

Azmatullah Omarzai hit a unbeaten 70 off 77-balls, Mohammad Nabi blasted a unbeaten 34 off 27-balls included 5-fours with strike rate of 125.92 and Sediqullah Atal 14.

Bangladesh best bowler by Nahid Rana, Mustafizur Rahman both took 2-wickets and one for Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Azmatullah Omarzai named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored a unbeaten 70 off 77-balls including 5-sixes & 3-fours after claiming a career-best 4-wickets for 37-runs in 7-over.
