Spinner Sufiyan Muqeem's astonishing figures of 5 for 3 before Openers Saim Ayub and Omair Yousuf's short-work helped to Pakistan's record ten-wicket victory over Zimbabwe and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in a one-sided game of the second T20I.

  • Pakistan's 87-balls spare win was their largest victory by terms of balls remaining in T20 international cricket history, previous biggest win by 47-balls against New Zealand at Rawalpindi earlier in this year.
  • The ten-wicket win is Pakistan's joint largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in T20 international, It is their third time win by ten wickets and first time Pakistan had defeated Zimbabwe by ten-wickets in T20Is.
  • Pakistan became the first team to play 250 T20Is in cricket history.
  • 16-balls : Sufiyan Muqeem equalled a joint fastest Pakistan bowler to take five-wicket haul in T20Is, jointly with Umar Gul's 16-balls five-for against New Zealand at The Oval in the 2009 World Twenty20. Umar Gul holds the record five-for for Pakistan in T20Is. He took 5-for in 14-balls against South Africa at Centurion in 2013.
  • Zimbabwe's 57 was their lowest score ever in a completed innings in T20 international, previous lowest was 82 against Sri Lanka at Colombo (RPS) earlier in this year and the lowest total by any team in Zimbabwe in T20Is, previous lowest was 69 by Singapore against USA in Bulawayo in 2022.
  • 61* : Omair Yousuf and Saim Ayub set up the third highest first-wicket partnership for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in T20Is.

Zimbabwe bundled out for 57 in 12.4 overs with top scorer by Brian Bennett blasted a 21 off 14-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 150, Tadiwanashe Marumani hit 16 off 14-balls included 3-fours and Clive Madande 9.

Pakistan best bowler by Sufiyan Muqeem 5-3, Abbas Afridi captured 2-wickets for 2-runs in 2-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 1, Salman Agha, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed each took one-wickets.

Pakistan chased 61 for without lost a wicket in 5.3 overs with top scorer by Saim Ayub hammered a unbeaten 36 off 18-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 200 and Omair Yousuf hit a unbeaten 22 off 15-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 146.66.

Sufiyan Muqeem named Player of the match for his career-best astonishing figures of 5-wicket haul for 3-runs in 2.4-overs with economy rate of 1.12.
