Australia scored 245-7 in the allotted 49 overs with top scorer by Geoff Marsh cracked a 81 off 118-balls including 8-fours.
Dean Jones cracked a 36 off 49-balls including 4-fours & a six, Ian Healy blasted a unbeaten 33 off 23-balls included 3-fours with strike rate of 143.47.
Steve Waugh scored 23 off 30-balls without a boundary, Allan Border hit 22 off 33-balls included 2-fours and Mark Waugh 17.
West Indies best bowler by Curtly Ambrose picked up 3-wickets for 37-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Tony Gray captured two-wickets and one for Phil Simmons - Patrick Patterson.
West Indies chased 181-3 in 33.3 overs - due to rain revised target of 181 from 36-overs - with top scorer by Richie Richardson struck 90 off 98-balls - who fell ten-run short of his century.
Gordon Greenidge hit a unbeaten 40 off 50-balls including 5-fours & a six, Gus Logie cracked a unbeaten 24 off 21-balls included 3-fours and Desmond Haynes scored 16 off 38-balls without a boundary.
Australia best bowler by Bruce Reid, Mark Waugh and Steve Waugh each took one-wickets.
Richie Richardson named Player of the match for his match-winning superb 90 off 98-balls including 14-fours.
