Kane Williamson's whirlwind 133* and Devon Conway's classy 97 powers New Zealand chased their record target of 305 against South Africa by 4-wickets, despite a Matthew Breetzke's record-breaking debut 150 and New Zealand qualify for the final in a high-scoring game of the second match of a Tri-Nation series.

  • New Zealand chased 305 was their eighth highest successful run-chase in One-day international and It is their highest chase against South Africa in ODIs, previous highest chase was 298 at Auckland in the 2015 World Cup.
  • South Africa's 304 was their joint fifth highest score against New Zealand in One-day international and It is their second highest total at Lahore in ODIs after their 311 against Sri Lanka in 1997.
  • Matthew Breetzke's 150 was the highest-score by any batsman on debut match in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 148 held by Desmond Haynes against Australia at St John's in 1978.
  • Matthew Breetzke became the fourth South African batsman to score a century on debut match in ODIs after Colin Ingram, Temba Bavuma and Reeza Hendricks.

South Africa scored 304-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Debutant Matthew Breetzke - who blasted a 150 off 148-balls on his debut ODI match.

Wiaan Mulder cracked a 64 off 60-balls including 5-fours & a six, Jason Smith struck 41 off 51-balls included 2-sixes & a four and Temba Bavuma scored 20 off 23-balls contained three-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Matt Henry, Will O’Rourke took 2-wickets and one for Michael Bracewell.

New Zealand chased 308-4 in 48.4 overs with top scorer by Kane Williamson hammered a unbeaten 133 off 113-balls - which was his 14th ODI hundred and his third century against South Africa in ODIs.

Devon Conway cracked a 97 off 107-balls - who fell three-run short of his century - including 9-fours & a six, Glenn Phillips hit a unbeaten 28 off 32-balls included one-six & a four and Will Young scored 19 off 31-balls contained 2-fours.

South Africa best bowler by Senuran Muthusamy took 2-wickets, Debutant Eathan Bosch - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match and Junior Dala took one-wicket.

Kane Williamson named Player of the match for his match-winning whirlwind batting performance to smashed a unbeaten 133 off facing 113-balls including 13-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 117.69.
