Bowlers shines before A superb unbeaten 73 by captain Monank Patel helped to USA tense four-wicket victory over USA and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in a see-saw game of the second T20I.
Oman scored 141-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jatinder Singh struck 57 off 41-balls, Aamir Kaleem cracked a 27 off 22-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 122.72 and Wasim Ali scored 11 off 8-balls contained two boundaries.
USA best bowler by Ali Khan picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs, Sanjay Krishnamurthi, Ali Sheikh and Juanoy Drysdale each took 2-wickets.
USA chased 142-6 in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Monank Patel blasted a unbeaten 73 off 53-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 137.73.
Aaron Jones cracked a 35 off 30-balls including 2-fours & a six and a Sanjay Krishnamurthi hit 23 off 20-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours.
Oman best bowler by Muhammed Imran picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 3.3-overs, Shakeel Ahmed took 2-wickets and one for Sufyan Mehmood.
Monank Patel named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 73 off facing 53-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 139.02.
