England's 179 was their tenth lowest score in a completed innings against England in One-day international and It is their fifth lowest total in a completed innings in Champions Trophy. 43 Balls faced by Jos Buttler for his 21 runs against South Africa, when he failed to struck a boundary. South Africa best bowler by Wiaan Mulder picked up 3-wickets for 25-runs in 7.2-overs, Marco Jansen captured three-wickets for 39-runs in 7-overs.

Keshav Maharaj captured two-wickets for 35-runs in 10-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 3.50, Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada both took one-wickets.

South Africa chased 181-3 in 29.1 overs with top scorer by Heinrich Klaasen hammered a 64 off 56-balls including 11-fours with strike rate of 114.28.

Rassie van der Dussen cracked a unbeaten 72 off 87-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes and Ryan Rickelton hit 27 off 25-balls contained 5-fours.

England best bowler by Jofra Archer took 2-wickets and one for Adil Rashid.

Marco Jansen named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 39-runs in 7-overs.
