Sanjay Manjrekar's classy half-century and Sachin Tendulkar's superb unbeaten fifty before Bowlers and Manoj Prabhakar's four-wicket haul helped to India resounding 60-run victory over Pakistan in the second match of a Wills Trophy.


India scored 238-4 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sanjay Manjrekar struck 72 off 93-balls, Sachin Tendulkar blasted a unbeaten 52 off 40-balls including 5-fours with strike rate of 130, Navjot Sidhu scored 38 off 66-balls included 2-fours.

Mohammad Azharuddin cracked a 32 off 36-balls including a four, Ravi Shastri scored 22 off consuming 63-balls contained a four and Kapil Dev hit a unbeaten 10 off 9-balls without a boundary.

Pakistan best bowler by Waqar Younis took 2-wickets and one for Wasim Akram.

Pakistan bowled out for 178 in 44.4 overs with top scorer by Javed Miandad scored 61 off 94-balls including two boundaries.

Ramiz Raja cracked a 35 off 74-balls including four boundaries, Saleem Malik scored 19 off 26-balls included a four and Moin Khan hit a unbeaten 17 off 26-balls without a boundary.

India best bowler by Manor Prabhakar claimed a 4-wickets for 25-runs in 7.4-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 3.26, Venkatapathy Raju captured two-wickets.

Debutant Javagal Srinath - who took one-wicket for 31-runs in 9-overs on his debut ODI match - including a maiden, Kapil Dev and Ravi Shastri both took one-wickets.

Sanjay Manjrekar named Player of the match for his classy batting performance to scored a 72 off 93-balls including three boundaries.
