Opener Aamir Sohail's brilliant 91 and Captain Imran Khan's whirlwind 24-ball 43 sets up to Pakistan narrow 4-run victory over India, despite a Sachin Tendulkar's blitz and qualify for the final in a see-saw game of the sixth match of a Will Trophy.
Pakistan scored 257-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Aamer Sohail struck 91 off 133-balls - who fell one-run short of his century - including 4-fours & a six.
Imran Khan hammered a 43 off 24-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 179.16, Saleem Malik scored 42 off 61-balls included a boundary and Zahid Fazal scored 39 off 72-balls including 2-fours & a six.
India best bowler by Javagal Srinath captured 2-wickets, Kapil Dev, Venkatapathy Raju and Manoj Prabhakar each took one-wickets.
India scored 253-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Ravi Shastri struck 77 off 99-balls including 8-fours & a six.
Sachin Tendulkar hammered a 49 off 38-balls -who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 128.94.
Sanjay Manjrekar cracked a 49 off 67-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including a boundary, Vinod Kambli hit 40 off 75-balls contained 4-fours and Manoj Prabhakar scored a unbeaten 19 off 18-balls with a four.
Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Akram captured 2-wickets, Saleem Malik, Aaqib Javed, Akram Raza and Waqar Younis each took one-wickets.
Aamer Sohail named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 91 off 133-balls including 4-fours & a six.
