Navjot Sidhu's superb 98 and Sanjay Manjrekar's another half-century before Pacer Manoj Prabhakar and Leg-spinner Anil Kumble's each four-wickets helped to India narrow 19-run victory over West Indies and move to top of the points table in the third match of a Will Trophy.
India scored 240-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Navjot Sidhu struck 98 off 113-balls - who fell two-run short of his century - including 6-fours & a six.
Sanjay Manjrekar cracked a 56 off 81-balls including two boundaries, Vinod Kambli - who scored a unbeaten 23 off 29-balls on his debut innings in ODIs - without a boundary and Sachin Tendulkar hit 22 off 27-balls contained 3-fours.
West Indies best bowler by Carl Hooper, Ian Bishop both took 2-wickets and one for Phil Simmons.
West Indies scored 221 for all-out in 48.5 overs with top scorer by Clayton Lambert cracked a 66 off 89-balls including 4-fours & a six.
Brian Lara struck 45 off 44-balls including three boundaries, Richie Richardson scored 28 off 45-balls included a boundary, Ian Bishop hit 23 off 29-balls contained a four.
Phil Simmons scored 20 off 44-balls without a boundary and Carl Hooper 17.
India best bowler by Manoj Prabhakar 4-30, Anil Kumble captured 4-wickets for 50-runs in 10-overs and Ravi Shastri took 2-wickets.
Manoj Prabhakar named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to claimed a 4-wickets for 30-runs in 9.5-overs with economy rate of 3.05.
