JJ Smit's all-round display, Ruben Trumpelmann's four-for, Nikolaas Davin and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton's blazing thirties helped to Namibia convincing three-wicket victory over Canada and take a 1-0 lead in the second T20I.
Canada scored 145-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Debutant Yuvraj Samra - who hammered a 37 off 18-balls on his debut T20I match - including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 205.55.
Kanwarpal Tathgur blasted a 26 off 14-balls including 3-sixes with strike rate of 185.71, Saad Bin Zafar hit a unbeaten 18 off 8-balls included one-six & a four with strike rate of 225.
Shreyas Movva scored 18 off 20-balls included a boundary and Nicholas Kirton hit 16 off 10-balls contained 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 160.
Namibia best bowler by Ruben Trumpelmann claimed a 4-wickets for 28-runs in 3-overs, JJ Smit picked up 3-wickets and Gerhard Erasmus took one-wicket.
Namibia chased 146-7 in 15 overs with top scorer by Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton hammered a 36 off 21-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 171.42.
JJ Smit blasted a 33 off 17-balls, Nikolaas Davin cracked a 32 off 19-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 168.42 and Zane Green hit a unbeaten 21 off 8-balls contained 2-sixes with strike rate of 262.50.
Canada best bowler by Akhil Kumar picked up 3-wickets for 12-runs in 3-overs, Kaleem Sana took 2-wickets and one for Shahid Ahmadzai.
JJ Smit named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance smashed a 33 off 17-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 194.11 after picking up 3-wickets for 18-runs in 3-overs.
