Half-centuries from Athula Samarasekera and Asanka Gurusinha helped to Sri Lanka snatched a consolation win against Pakistan by 4-wickets, despite a maiden century by opener Inzamam-ul-Haq in front of his home crowd and SL avoid the margin of defeat 1-3 in the fourth ODI.

Inzamam-ul-Haq became the fourth Pakistan batsman to score a century against Sri Lanka in ODIs after Zaheer Abbas, Saleem Malik and Javed Miandad. Inzamam-ul-Haq became the ninth Pakistan batsman to score a century in ODIs.

Pakistan scored 205-5 in the allotted 40 overs with top scorer by Inzamam-ul-Haq hit a career-best 101 off 121-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred - including 9-fours & 3-sixes.

Ramiz Raja scored 52 off 83-balls including three boundaries and Ijaz Ahmed cracked a run-a-ball 31-runs contained one-six & a four.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Champaka Ramanayake, Sanath Jayasuriya both took 2-wickets and one for Kapila Wijegunawardene.

Sri Lanka chased 206-6 in 39.4 overs with top scorer by Athula Samarasekera cracked a 76 off 88-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Asanka Gurusinha struck 74 off 86-balls including 7-fours & a six and Aravinda de Silva 18.

Pakistan best bowler by Mushtaq Ahmed, Aaqib Javed both took 2-wickets and one for Waqar Younis.
