A solid half-century by Carl Hooper before Pace bowling from Curtly Ambrose, Malcolm and Marshall, Anderson Cummins helped to West Indies narrow 17-run victory over Pakistan and clinch the three-match series with 2-0 in the third & final ODI.


West Indies scored 204-5 in the allotted 40 overs with top scorer by Carl Hooper struck 57 off 64-balls, Brian Lara cracked a 45 off 65-balls including 4-fours.

Philo Wallace hit 36 off 41-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes and Keith Arthurton scored a unbeaten 29 off 26-balls contained two boundaries.

Pakistan best bowler by Aaqib Javed claimed a 4-wickets for 31-runs in 8-overs including a maiden and Inzamam-ul-Haq took one-wicket for 24-runs in 3-overs.

Pakistan bowled out for 187-8 in 40 overs with top scorer by Inzamam-ul-Haq cracked a 60 off 91-balls including 4-fours.

Zahid Fazal struck 53 off 50-balls including 2-fours & a six, Ramiz Raja scored 29 off consuming 61-balls contained two boundaries and Imran Khan scored 14 off 16-balls with a boundary.

West Indies best bowler by Anderson Cummins, Curtly Ambrose, Malcolm Marshall each took 2-wickets and one for Robert Haynes - Carl Hooper.

Carl Hooper named Player of the match for his solid knock of 57 off 64-balls including 5-fours & a six.
