* Chennai Super Kings crumbled to a shocking 103 for 9, their lowest IPL total at home, and suffered a heartbreaking fifth defeat in five successive matches - a first in their history. This dismal performance has left them stranded in ninth place on the points table. MS Dhoni's return to captaincy wasn't marked by dominance.


CSK scored 103-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shivam Dube cracked a unbeaten 31 off 29-balls including 3-fours.

Vijay Shankar struck 29 off 21-balls including 2-fours & a six, Rahul Tripathi scored 12 off 11-balls included a boundary and Devon Conway hit 12 off 11-balls contained two boundaries.

KKR best bowler by Sunil Narine picked up 3-wickets, Harshit Rana, Varun Chakravarthy both took 2-wickets and one for Moeen Ali - Vaibhav Arora.

KKR chased 107-2 in 10.1 overs with top scorer by Sunil Narine hammered a 44 off 18-balls, Quinton de Kock blasted a 23 off 16-balls including 3-sixes with strike rate of 143.75.

Ajinkya Rahane scored a unbeaten 20 off 11-balls included one-six & a four and Rinku Singh hit a unbeaten 15 off 12-balls contained one-six & a four.

CSK best bowler by Noor Ahmad and Anshul Kamboj both took 2-wickets.

Sunil Narine named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to smashed a whirlwind 44 off 18-balls including 5-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 244.44 after picked up 3-wickets for 13-runs in 4-overs with economy rate of 3.25.
