The Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings match has been called off due to steady rain after Priyansh Arya's 27-ball fifty and Prabhsimran Singh's 49-ball 83 in the 44th match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Punjab Kings' 56 for 0 was their joint eighth highest powerplay total against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.
  • Punjab Kings' 90 for 0 was their seventh most runs after ten overs against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.
  • 120 : Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh set up the record first-wicket partnership for Punjab Kings against Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League, previously held by the 116-run stand between KL Rahul and Chris Gayle at same venue in 2018 and the PBKS' joint sixth highest opening stand in IPL, jointly 120-run stand held by between KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal at Dubai (DICS) in 2021.
  • Prabhsimran Singh's 83 was his second highest score for Punjab Kings in Indian Premier League and the fourth highest-score by an PBKS batsman against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.
  • Priyansh Arya hammered a 27-ball his second fastest fifty for Punjab Kings in Indian Premier League and the eighth fastest fifty by an PBKS batsman against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.
  • 120 : Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh set up the second highest any-wicket stand against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL, The highest is 129-run stand for the third-wicket between Manan Vohra and Wriddhiman Saha at Bengaluru in the 2014 IPL final.
  • Punjab Kings' 201 was their fourth highest score against Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League and It is their third highest total at Kolkata in IPL.

* Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh shine but Punjab Kings suffered their first-ever washout and they moved to No. 4 on the points table while KKR placed to No. 7 with seven points from nine matches.

* Punjab Kings' impressive innings came to naught as the match against Kolkata Knight Riders was abandoned due to late-evening thunderstorms in Kolkata. Despite scoring 201 for four on a slow pitch, Punjab could only manage to secure one point from the match. Kolkata Knight Riders had reached seven runs without losing a wicket when the rain interrupted play, and the match was eventually called off.


PBKS scored massive total of 201-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Prabhsimran Singh hammered a 83 off 49-balls including 6-sixes & 6-fours with strike rate of 169.38.

Priyansh Arya blasted a 69 off 35-balls including 8-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 197.14, Shreyas Iyer hit a unbeaten 25 off 16-balls included one-six & a four and Josh Inglis cracked a unbeaten 11 off 6-balls contained 2-fours with strike rate of 183.33.

KKR best bowler by Vaibhav Arora took 2-wickets and one for Andre Russell - Varun Chakravarthy.

KKR scored 7 for without lost a wicket in 1-over at when rain stopped the play - with top scorer by Sunil Narine hit a unbeaten 4 off 3-balls including a boundary and Rahmanullah Gurbaz 1 for not out.
