Priyansh Arya became the 14th Punjab Kings batsman to score a century in IPL. Priyansh Arya became the third Punjab Kings batsman to score a hundred against Chennai Super Kings in IPL after Paul Valthaty and Virender Sehwag. Priyansh Arya's 103 was his highest score for Punjab Kings in Indian Premier League and the third highest-score by an PBKS batsman against Chennai Super Kings in IPL. MS Dhoni became the first Wicketkeeper to take 150 catches in IPL history. Chennai Super Kings' 201 was their fourth highest score against Punjab Kings in Indian Premier League and the third highest-score by any team at Mullanpur in IPL.

PBKS scored mammoth total of 219-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Priyansh Arya hammered a 103 off 42-balls - which was his 1st IPL hundred.

Shashank Singh blasted a unbeaten 52 off 36-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 144.44, Marco Jansen hammered a unbeaten 34 off 19-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 178.94, Shreyas Iyer and Nehal Wadhera each scored 9-runs.

CSK best bowler by Khaleel Ahmed, Ravichandran Ashwin both took 2-wickets and one for Mukesh Choudhary - Noor Ahmad.

CSK scored 201-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Devon Conway blasted a 69 off 49-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 140.81.

Shivam Dube blasted a 42 off 27-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 155.55, Rachin Ravindra struck 36 off 23-balls included 6-fours with strike rate of 156.52 and MS Dhoni hammered a 27 off 12-balls contained 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 225.

PBKS best bowler by Lockie Ferguson took 2-wickets and one for Glenn Maxwell - Yash Thakur.

Priyansh Arya named Player of the match for his whirlwind batting performance to smashed a career-best 103-runs knocked off facing 42-balls including 9-sixes & 7-fours with strike rate of 245.23.
